Education & Background

LaKeisha Manigo is a Licensed Social Worker. In 2014, LaKeisha completed her clinical training at Rutgers University. After graduating, she continued to expand her clinical palette, by completing the Child and Adolescent Advocacy program at Montclair State University in 2020. LaKeisha is also a Certified School Social Worker. As a clinician, LaKeisha has experience treating Conduct disorders, ADHD, Complex Trauma, Anger Management, Stress Management, Parenting Issues, Anxiety, Depression, and Crisis Intervention

Her therapeutic modalities include Coaching, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Strength-Based Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. LaKeisha also applies concepts from the Nurtured Heart Approach and the Youth Thrive Framework with her clients.
