Education & Background

Dana (she/her) is a Licensed Social Worker committed to normalizing mental health services and promoting client self-determination. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey, where she also completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with minors in Sociology and Substance Use Disorders. Dana has a wide range of experience working with individuals and groups of adolescents and adults, addressing issues such as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, limited resources, addiction, and relationship challenges.

Dana emphasizes that people deserve tailored and creative solutions suited to their circumstances. She believes in collaboration and approaching therapy with an open mind, from both sides, to foster long-term progress. With clients, Dana applies Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Strength-Based techniques, and Systems Approach to explore perspectives, set goals, and work toward sustainable, realistic change. She is dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community, families, and all individuals through a trauma-informed and accepting approach. Dana strives to provide affirming, effective, and comprehensive care to every client who seeks her services.
