Approach

Danielle takes a client-centered approach to therapy, creating a supportive and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Through active listening and collaboration, she works to understand each clients unique needs, experiences, and goals while emphasizing the importance of self-determination throughout the therapeutic process. She also helps clients recognize and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, such as all-or-nothing thinking, by exploring different perspectives and embracing the complexity of life & experiences. Danielle encourages clients to move away from rigid, black-and-white thinking and develop a more balanced, flexible understanding of themselves, others, and the situations they face. Danielle believes in the connection between the mind and body and incorporates creativity and mindfulness to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their emotions, physical sensations, and inner experiences. She utilizes breathing exercises, grounding techniques, and other calming strategies to help clients build coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and find greater balance in their everyday lives.
